Write letters. Sign petitions. Or pass them around on your street so your neighbors can sign. Staff an information booth at local community events. Make phone calls. Carry a sign. Attend meetings, such as Zoning Hearing Board, Planning Commission, Borough Council or Township Supervisor Meetings. Your presence alone at these meetings, can oftentimes make a critical difference. Better yet, speak up at these meetings.

As a United States citizen, you have the right for your voice to be heard at local governmental meetings. Exercise your right. Encourage and cheer on others who do.
