Bucks County Folk Song Society
Bucks County Folk Song Society
Established in the early 1960’s, the Bucks County Folksong Society (BCFSS) is an organization of people who share a common love of playing and listening to music. While “folksong” is in our name, our members enjoy all aspects of folk music, including traditional and contemporary American tunes, songs from the British Isles, blues, country, bluegrass, ethnic traditional, and modern singer/songwriter music.
BCFSS members perform in various groups as well as solo. A BCFSS concert usually includes a wide variety of groups and genres. We have presented several concerts at the Langhorne Heritage Farm. BCFSS also performs at the Doylestown Arts Fest, Perkasie Fall Festival, and at Perkasie Patchwork Coffeehouse.
Our concerts sponsored by Langhorne Open Space are free of charge to the public. As concerts are planned, info will be posted on this website as well as on banners at Heritage Farm and at the Mayors’ Playground.
Bring your own lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the tunes in front of the Main Barn at Heritage Farm (222 N.Green Street, Langhorne). There’s plenty of free parking on site.
